After a thoroughly dominant victory over Manchester City in yesterday's Community Shield, Arsenal appear ready to hit the ground running once the Premier League kicks off next weekend. Having strengthened considerably again this summer, the one player many believe will be key to the Gunners' quest for more silverware is Chilean play-maker Alexis Sanchez. Can the ex-Barca man and World Cup star guide his new club to their first League Title in 11 years, or will Arsenal finish fourth like they always do? Let's debate!

Sanchez & Giraud are a power team. I don't think the Wembley performance was a one-off breakthrough for the Gunners.

What happens with Arsenal is they start strong, and then slack off. Having a ***** player on board is great, but only if the whole squad gets into a real momentum and keeps it humming, otherwise they'll let themselves down (again).

It's true, how many times have they started the season flying, only to crumble after Christmas?

Sanchez is a great signing, probably the best of the summer along with Chelsea signing Diego Costa. Now that they've finally ended that long run without a trophy, I think we're going to such a mentally stronger Arsenal this season, a team that will maybe be able to scrape a 1-0 here and there when they're up against it and one that will do better against the other top 4/5 clubs. I don't really support any particular English club but I have a soft spot for Arsenal and would like to see them win it this season

With the new lineup they can go as high as third position in the league but I can't see them climb to the top post just now.
