I thought it would be time to start a new debate on this. The election is only a few weeks away now. Exciting times, for people on all sides of the argument. Labour is growing, so shortly after the election. Rather than languishing in defeat, the party is in the middle of public attention. Discuss!

So what if that's the chemistry she has with her support base?

Think whatever of his opinions. J Corbyn was the only straight talking person there.

I don't think anyone would argue with that. The others are a tad mealymouthed. It's more than straight talking we need, if it was only that we needed, we would have put Nigel Farage in the house of commons.

What is the chance of Jeremy Corbyn not becoming the next Labour leader? 6 days to go and it's a dead cert/

You bet mate, and many of us are far from happy. We'll see in the next few months-years whether it will split the party or not.

Labour won't break up. Maybe some curmudgeons will exit sure. It will change and that is the only way it can survive. We have to wait until Saturday for the result!!!

I'm choosing to be philosophical and watch the events that will follow as a bit of entertainment. It's the only way really that's health promoting :D

I'm disappointed that there are no women appointed in top jobs. This is where Corbyn could make a difference. But he's content with a boys club. Old time labour-union style.

So does it even matter that Corbyn didn't sing God Save the Queen? The media seem be over reacting big time on this one (in my humble opinion)

He won't play games. I think even a lot of conservatives respect him for it.

I thought prime minister's question time was brilliant. He refuses to play the pay-acting drama game and instead he focused on issues. He put the people of Britain centre stage instead of himself. Maybe its a bit symbolic for the whole new approach, not politics as usual for sure.

Well....brilliant is a big word for it....but I think the ragging and bullying that Corbyn is getting is a bit over the top......it just reflects how ruthless the political game is....you cough and it will be quoted against you.

The press keeps hitting Corbyn with whatever they can. The tie, trident. Or dissenting voices in the party. I think he made an ok speech. Im not a Corbanite we just have to see where it goes. Maybe the media will decide to give the man a chance. Maybe it will be months before they do.

You are just not going to have that many changes in a lazy redundant party without a lot of flustered angry people and a lot of waves and a plans to reverse the course forward. Soon we will need a Labour 2016 debate, and it will be even more interesting than the 2015 story.

He may have another 8, 9 months in office. Most of the waves are not because of flustered people though that is a part of it but because of disagreements and Corbyn not impressing in his first month.
