Is this the end of wealthy prime ministers?

Is David Cameron being criticised for having an income outside of his wages or just for not disclosing it? If we believe it's because of his extra wage then surely in the future, PM's will be unable to have extra incomes.

I think it's both frowned up but most of all for not disclosing it. People tend to feel you're trying to get away with it when it's hidden. That is why he was so keen to immediately disclose his income details this weekend.

I think people are just envious if anyone was in his shoes in his family they would have done the same thing.

People want their leaders to be focussed on d job and not dabbling around with investments rite? Even DC understood that and got rid of that portfolio before he took d job.

No I think people object and inequality and privilege more than wealth per se. If a PM has earned his wealth by hard work and good choices it's actually a credit to him or her. In this case it's clear that David Cameron swallowed the silver spoon.

I doubt that. I would love for the UK to have a working class president. I think Jeremy Corbyn has a lot to say, but he will not be PM I predict. With status comes money and with money comes connections and with connections comes leverage.

He has no income outside his wages really, but he had before he became PM. I think if he did yea people would feel cheated and rightly so.
