Is the Daily Mail's "Legs-it" the worst newspaper headline ever?

O there have been worse. It wont be a surprise coming from me but this was stupid and embarrassing. It makes Britain looks sad that we look stuck in the 1960s. In what other civilised country can you imagine this? Is there any way that these two women could look more conservative? In any profession a woman can look attractive. But in politics it's always super safe that counts. Except if you are Ivana Trump. May and Sturgeon could almost stodgy in dark blue business attire. No, not good enough. They still have to be rated on their legs. What are they supposed to wear? 19th century dresses that reach to the floor?

The most embarrassing thing is this: They found a woman to write this stupid article for them. That makes it acceptable of course. Well it doesn't. Sexism is sexism whether it comes from a male or a female. All that for what. To sell a few more papers that's all. At least the Sun are not hypocritical about it and put the boobs on page 3.

I am in between these two opinions. It's a very dumb and trivial article but at least it's not incendiary and inflammatory like so many Daily Mail headlines.

I think we get offended to quickly. The article was obviously a lark and trying to lighten things up a bit?

We're talking about the Daily Mail my dear friend, in the same breath as 'the worst headline'. Do we have time to consider every single issue since 1896? (I had to look that up) That makes a lot of candidates for that award.
