Do you think the British government starve your fellow country men on purpose to get them into slave labor jobs?

There are millions of people who are now at the stage where it is impossible to live in Britain, people are under paid and can't afford to pay bills, rent, keep a mortgage etc. The media and the government insists that everything is fine and the people are actually happy with the way things are. Well even middle class people are struggling so much to the point they have to find other living solutions outside of Britain and if they can not then the only option is to find a extra job just to keep that car, house etc. Lower class people are being shoved into militant jobs cause it's either that or starve to death but Mr Cameron still says everything is fine, the economy will be better, more jobs will be created and people will be happy.

And you think that in other European countries it is different?

Never said it's different in other European. The question is directed to the UK audience who may have a different point of view, it is not everyone thinks like you or knows exactly what it is going on so I am hoping to get a different answer than yours so I can say hang on a minute explain or prove what you said.

'The media' as such does challenge the Tory status quo, giving voice to Labour arguments as well as other parties, through radio, tv & printed media. Though there more people at work now, many of the jobs are sub standard, with sub standard pay. It's a competitive economy. Show me where to find an economy that is not competitive, and you end up in poverty.

When job centers or work programme provider consider a UK welfare claimant has not done everything possible or in their power that person and their family get sanctioned and this could be a period of several weeks, months etc. This means it leaves those people no choice but to get into the black economy or throw their lot into organised criminal gangs just eat, make money and survive. Now there has been a huge number of Britons incorrectly sanctioned or lets say sanctioned on purpose leaving hundreds of thousands of people been placed starvation row, with a family to support who has done nothing wrong. When people were flooded out of their homes the government had £350 million, local welfare assistance fund, to pay for emergency food and shelter and not too long ago George Osborne scrapped that too, people who were severely sick, disabled were left to fend for themselves. I think Cameron is very much into stopping the unemployed from eating and sleeping and only the rich is counted or regarded as humans but anything lower than that we are animals but even animals get treated better than most people. So my point is for the people that support this country do they really see what is going on and the strategy behind it cause you can say there are more people at work but who are those people at work, what jobs are they, who is targeted at etc and you're right it is a competitive economy.

I'm sure that people are being unfairly sanctioned, and the housing benefit cuts are affecting a lot of people adversely. Data of people on food aid should be studied and analysed, and active support in job search and allocation should be given, as the work and pensions committee has stressed. On the other hand, there are a lot of people that are conveniently not working for years, and, yes, decades. These people put a burden on everyone, especially the lower middle class, who feel the pressure most keenly. I know this from my own experience. A friend in the midlands is now not working for 24 years. 24 Years. Healthy, able. Still drawing benefits, still virtually without serious challenge (though she is whining that it's getting hard and it's not fair), till she will not be able to work due to old age, as far as she is concerned. And many, many people are determined to squeeze the system in this way. Every figure is only an estimate, but the government is losing Billions every year because of fraud. Some of these rules & restrictions are good. Please do consider that there is a very real problem that needs addressing.

Yes i have considered and agreed that there are people happy enough to live off benefits and this does also make it difficult but how many people do you think are actually looking for a job, trying to get off benefits and how many people are happy just to live on benefits for the rest of their lives? i think the majority are trying to change but those people are being labelled as people who do not care about getting a job and i think it is only the minority who are comfortable living on benefits. The media makes it out like the majority are happy enough to live of peoples tax payers money but i have seen youngster stressing on the news to build a better education system so it leads to a decent paid job, do something for the community etc. These people actually want to do something.

Hopefully so. I'm sure many excellent and ambitious youngsters get bitten by policies that do not target them. Just like the rest of us have to pay higher council tax and income tax to carry other people's burdens. And the majority of people want to work and are responsible citizens. Otherwise this country would go to the dogs.
